Artist: Craig Martin

Medium: Watercolour, graphic pen, acrylic

Size: 920 x 720mm (including frame)

After this was finished I had one friend say it looked like a field of mirrors reflecting the sky, a bunch of skylights looking down at the clouds from some extraordinary unseen flying machine or magical windows that when placed on the earth could show you what you dream of. I’m not going to say if any of them are right. But it was so touching that it impacted different peoples imaginations in different ways. The irony of having so many different interpretations is that the actual message of this painting is to simply set free your mind.
